Quotes Was taking with a friend over breakfast about my memories of our family visit and tour of Stein and had to look you up! If I were to make a trip around the USA today and visit the southwest, Stein would be one of my top priorities. I am so glad we took our children on the Stein adventure. What a gift to walk through the "town" and feel the history and let your imagination roam! This is the real deal for anyone who loves history. Thank you for keeping Stein open. I will be sure to plan a visit in the future when Stein will be open and your wonderful tour experience available. Thank you and God Bless Your family. Quotes

Quotes What a Jewel this town is!!! I could not believe what i was seeing. Lots of places say they take you back into time....well this place delivers!!!! these houses are as they were pretty much a hundred years ago. the townspeople left with the railroad with only what they could carry, the result was a ghost town FULL of personal treasures. If you love history....this is a MUST see !!!!!! Quotes

What a Jewel !!!

Quotes We really enjoyed our tour on October 12th. The railroad aspect of the town was fascinating and Melissa, our guide, was excellent. Her knowledge of the past events and lifestyles was exceeded only by her enthusiasm in telling about them. She really made the old buildings come to life! Steins is well worth the stop!!! Quotes

Quotes Jon Treacy I had the pleasure of touring this town before it reopened. For a long time this wonderful place was closed to the public because the family that owns it was tired of people stealing the great pieces of history here. I felt privileged to be and trusted to see it. Now the town is open for all to see. Please respect it. Visit it. Love it. And above all leave it there for others to see this remarkable piece of New Mexico history Quotes

Quotes Robert Towne Over the weekend, I had one of the best filming experiences in all the years I've been doing movies. We shot a few scenes for the western at Steins NM Railroad Ghost Town near the Arizona border. It was well worth the trip! The folks who run the place are great, and their hospitality is something you don't see a lot of nowadays. I highly recommend visiting, especially if you're a history buff! That plus an amazing cast and crew that really made it memorable! Quotes

Quotes I remember seeing this ghost town from the freeway every time my family drove from El Paso to Tucson when I was a kid. But I never got to see it up close till recently. When my friends and I arrived, we were afraid it was closed and we would have to turn back. But we met the folks there and they were very kind, and Melissa gave us a great tour! It reminds you that you never stop learning! I never got to meet Larry, but from his work that I saw, and what I heard about him, I would like to have. When I first read about his passing and the closure of Steins, I was afraid another old west treasure would fall to ruin and vandals like so many other ghost towns. But I'm glad his legacy is living on, and I hope Steins can keep history alive for many more years to come! Quotes
